MGA Roadster Coupe Magnette OE Type Door Seal Light Gray per Yard

MGA Roadster Coupe Magnette OE Type Door Seal light gray per Yard. New limited stock MGA and MG Magnette door seal sold per yard. This seal has large rubber flap and Furflex. The rubber is installed over the door opening metal lip and the Furflex seal installs and is a press fit over the door opening. Fitted on the MGA roadster along the A post , sill and up the B post. This listing is for light gray We also have some grey, black and blue seals available. Note this is has the correct rubber flap that is larger than the standard door seals offer on most other British sports cars. 

Price listed is per yard (Important you must have a gap of 3/4 of an inch without door panels installed and a 1/2 inch with the panels installed. Sometimes when the rocker panels and A and B posts are replaced the body shop has incorrectly modified the opening and reduced these measurements. In this case an alternate seal will be require with a smaller rubber seal will be required check our Sprite  or Austin Healey 6 cylinder seals on our site for an option.

Factory part reference 

Important Please read. This seal duplicates the original factory seal. The installation takes patience to install, The rubber seal is installed over the steel lip of the door opening jamb. You can use some Loctite gel or similar to install. The fuzzy U door seal installs over the rubber and is pushed down. This is the time consuming part of the installation. You must spread the U apart before you start installation. This takes time as the metal internal grip is tight and will take some time to spread.

Note if you are patient the installation will result in a correct seal . See pictures as we installed the seal on one of our steel rocker panels. This seal is similar to that originally offered by Clark Spares but doesn’t require additional clips. The fuzzy U has is tight and grips well.
