Triumph GT6 Clutch Slave Cylinder 7/8 Bore
This slave cylinder was used on GT6 MK1 MK2 & MK3 models. The bore is 7/8. The original factory slave part number was 515493 it was later changed to 516788. The fast moving factory parts book indicates 516788 as the replacment slave for all GT6 models. This being said some owners of GT6 have experienced hard clutch pedals in this case you may want to use the 1 in bore slave.
Clutch problems? (Hard Clutch) During the late 1980’s Girling superseded the original 1″ inch bore to 7/8″ bore causing Triumph owners some major headaches! We are offering the 1″ bore cylinder this can be used if you are experiencing a hard clutch see separate listing for 1 inch bore, This listing is for ordering 7/8 bore. The master cylinder remained constant. This Triumph GT6 Clutch Slave Cylinder fits Triumph GT6 MKI, MKII and MKIII 1966-1973. We have not determined if there was a change point for the slave however the early slave cylinder for the GT6 was factory part number 515493.
