This cap will fit other early model sports cars. You need to check the flange where your existing cap mounts. The cap has a 2 1/2 inch opening threaded. With the adapter the opening can be reduced to 2 1/4. See our photos. The gas tube is from an Austin Healey 3000 MK3. The flange where the adapter ring is slightly less than 2 1/4. Using the brass adapter ring we have soldered the ring (or epoxy) to the top of the filler tube . This allows for the cap to be directly threaded on to the filler pipe. This tube size is fairly standard on British sports cars pre 1969. Please remove your existing cap an measure prior to ordering to insure this cap will adapt to your vehicle.
Note this is a chrome plated gas cap CG6509DR
