Raydyot Alloy Racing Mirror Austin Healey Cobra Porsche

Raydyot Alloy Racing Mirror Austin Healey Cobra Porsche  Beautiful spun aluminum vintage style racing mirror with OE style logo. These mirrors were popular in the early 1950’s and installed by many works and privateers  who raced British and European sports cars. Mounted on doors, dash and fenders. We obtained several of these mirrors for vintage race cars we were restoring. Mirrors were stamped with the Raydyot logo and appear to be correct size and style reproduction when compared to an original one on a vintage race Bugeye Sprite we have in our shop. Mirror assembly is new but was obtained about 10 ears ago from a Cobra specialist. Aluminum housing is riveted to a steel base and has a ball type  base. 

Most of these units appear to have been mounted to the doors but the one on our vintage Bugeye is mounted as a rearview mirror on the dash. The mirror being offered has not been mounted and is an extra from the ones we originally purchased for several vintage sports cars.
