MGTC TD TF 1945-1955 Wind Wings & Racing Screens. Also fits earlier MGT series MGTA MGTD with lip on windshield frame for attachment. Exact replicas of Wind Screens offered by MG Mitten, Bakers World and other mail order companies during the 1950’s and 1960’s. Their ads can be found in the back of old Road and Track Magazines and Autoweek. These wind wings were installed as wind deflectors on the side windshield chrome lip. Plexiglas with chrome fittings and chrome knurled adjusting knobs give the original 1950- 1960’s design. In addition these could be removed and also be mounted to the scuttle and function as Racing screens. You will need to make a small L shaped bracket to secure the Racing screen to the scuttle. Mounting just inside the windscreen when folded down.
Years ago we had an MGTD serviced in our shop where the owner had 4 L shaped brackets secured to the scuttle two on each side. The L shaped brackets were secure to the scuttle and the wind wings mounted like Brooklands racing screens or as attach directly to the sides of the windshield assembly. A duel purpose part sure to draw attention.
