You may or may not be aware that most automotive oils no longer have a Zinc additive to help protect flat tappet engines. You now need to protect you engine from premature failure. As a restorer and engine rebuilders of classic British sports car engines we use a Zinc additive. We offer our customers Cam-shield™ 4 oz. measuring bottle Zinc Additive premium anti-wear oil treatment in new measuring bottle. One 4 oz bottle with attached measure treats up to 16 Quarts of engine oil. This is 4 times the standard small bottle treatment offered by other suppliers. New super concentrate delivers 1600 ppm zinc per 1/2 oz.
New bottle allows measuring for newly rebuilt engine, racing motors or for your classic sports car. If you’ve got a classic car your more likely to change your engine oil on a regular basis to keep your engine safe.
Shane crawford –
This is great information, I only found out about adding zinc to my oil after getting all new seal redone on my Spitfire 1500cc. The old Scottish mechanic to,d me this, I never new it and I have owned this car for 20 yrs. I purchased zinc additive here in Canada at a greatly inflated price than this product. Once when my supply ends I’m purchasing this.
I only wish I knew sooner.
